Hi! I’m Kelly. Thank you so much for being here.

I live on the south shore of Massachusetts with my husband, John, our three senior pugs, George, Walter & Mae, and our cat, Janey.
Throughout my life, I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by talented & creative women - my Mimi was an artist, my aunt is an artist, and my mom is a creative. In a natural sort of progression, I ended up following this creative path with painting and fell in love with it.
When I started out, I wanted to try it all, so I worked with acrylics, mixed media, pastels, gouache, and transitioned over to oils. Oil painting and I clicked. I started painting water and haven't stopped. Sometimes you'll see other non water paintings here of something that interests me but I always seem to get pulled back to water.
Being by the water is where I feel most at peace and gravitate to. Water is what I love to paint- to attempt to capture the movement, feeling, and awe of the ocean. That is the goal when I am working on a piece. I've lived in New England all my life and draw so much inspiration from the coastlines here.
I'm a huge animal lover. All animals really but there is a special place in my heart for senior dogs. That’s why a portion of all sales goes towards the rescue, care & rehabilitation of senior dogs. To learn about why senior dogs, this page will share more , or click on 'Senior Dogs' at the top of the page.
If you’d like to get in touch about carrying my art, have a question about a piece, or have any other questions, you can message me here.
Thank you again for being here,

Kelly
